Yellow Springs
I meant to post this a long time ago...like way closer to Labor Day since that's when we took this little excursion, but I just barely got around to it. We went with the Richards to Yellow Springs because it wasn't too far away, and we wanted something fun to do. There were some trails to walk which proved to be a little difficult with strollers and it was raining, but we still had lots of fun. Taylee even spotted Ariel in the river. Lucky girl. We stopped for lunch at Young's Farm and we fed some goats and let the kids sit on the model tractors and cow mannequins. Emerson and Taylee weren't too sure about the nasty goat tongues licking the brown pellets out of their hands, (and neither was I) so we made sure to load up on hand sanitizer afterward. Despite losing Candice and Mathis for awhile on one of the trails, the trip was a success. Taylee had a really good time forcing Emer to hold her hand, and even though he pretended not to, I know he really liked it. Thanks for inviting us Richards! And thanks for the beautiful pictures as well. :)

I love Emerson's eyes peering over Taylee's arm in the hug picture. Kind of like Beah peering over Emerson shoulder in the nap picture. How cool to spot Ariel in the river!
I think he does secretly love Taylee. As he should. They'll make a lovely couple one day.
