Neyack
That's the sound you make when peanut butter gets stuck on the roof of your mouth. My dear little 17-month-old had his first real experience with this today. He was acting really solemn and kept putting his pointer finger in his mouth and wasn't flinging food off his tray like he does when he's finished, so I knew something must be going on. I looked in his mouth and discovered that his bite of peanut butter sandwich had adhered to the whole roof of his mouth. I guess that's what you get when you lick off all the jelly first...like he does EVERY time. I asked him if he wanted help and he said "yeah" (but more monotone than usual) and opened his mouth for me to dig it out. Then he took the soggy little mass from me and tried to eat it again, but I took it and threw it away instead. He was fine with that. He didn't have the energy to fight me because he was too near to falling asleep. It made me giggle.

Cute! With a little mouth like his, you can only imagine how little of peanut butter it would take to cover the entire roof of his mouth! Little Cutie!
How frustrating! He was probably very confused about what was going on in there.
Soo cute! I still get those pb and J's stuck on the roof of my mouth!
what a cutie!! I love your picture at the top of your blog, so cute. Who took your pictures? We need to get together again and do a girls night or something fun. It will be easier once everyone is back in classes again. Hope all is well.
When the culprit is a banana, the sound is "meyack" instead of "neyack" Just ask your mom.
