Last weekend we took a little trip to Virginia to visit Tim, Brooke, Alli, and Kennedy before they move to Peru. It was a 7 hour drive, but Emerson was very good. He was very entertained by his new big boy carseat, a variety of snacks, and a few hours' worth of peekaboo. We had a great time watching Emerson play with his cousins, going into D.C., going to dinner at The Cheesecake Factory, rollin' in the Pilot, playing games, and just hanging out. Thanks for all the fun! We're sad you're going to be moving so far away.

I've only been to Virginia/DC once, but I loved it. Looks and sounds like a fabulous trip! Sad that you're relatives are moving so far away though. Why are they moving to Peru? Sounds exotic!

Virginia sounded fun but looked a little cold if you ask me. I am happy the weather has been warmer these last few days here. It's about time!!! See you at Cooking Club this week.

Booo to the Christensens for not swinging by and saying hello when they were in our neighborhood! Just kidding-- we understand it. It was probably a busy weekend and I guess sibling blood is thicker than cousin blood. Aaah, whatever. ;) Looks like you had some fun-- come back when it's warmer!

I always knew you and FDR would be the best of friends. You're so tight you probably call him "Delano." Jealous.

I'm a huge fan of Child's cocked head at Baby Einstein. He looks so intrigued. And his legs look like they are too short to be able to fold him under him like that...

And finally, who'da thought that E would be so overjoyed by sitting atop a cannon?! It's the perfect size for his stubby little legs.
