It was a toss up of which picture I should use to document Emerson's 11 month mark. They all demonstrate his funny little personality. At 11 months Emerson:*Gets excited when the Baby Einstein caterpillar thing crawls across the tv screen.
*Cries when mom leaves home without him. (With Ben watching him of course.)
*Can clap his hands and wave! (The biggest, most awaited accomplishment.)
*Is getting dangerously close to saying "Hi" "Mom" and "Dad"
*Occasionally toddles around when he wants to
*Crawls at the speed of light to the dishwasher to "help" mommy.
*Smashes his fingers in doors because he loves to open and shut them.
*Stops playing to look at his truck book all by himself.
*Does all the activities in his Pat the Bunny book, including turning the pages.
*Drops things off his high chair tray and then tries to look over the side at where they went.
*Has figured out how to put a blanket over his eyes to play peekaboo.
*Refuses to stay still while having his diaper changed.
*Has discovered that the DVDs come off the shelf...and loves pulling them off and throwing them.
*Has started eating table food and hates mashed potatoes.
*Has begun the weaning process. (Hooray!!)

Is he getting more blonde? I can't believe how quickly he seems to be growing up. And doing so much already. What a kid! I love all of the different pictures of him... I bet he keeps you laughing all day. :)
Oh! Little E is growing up to be such a big boy! He can actually control his actions now! Remember his "happy" hands? *sniffle, sniffle* Those were the good old days!
Hello my dear Ninny,
This is your dear friend, Priscilla, also known as "Cryla." As you know, I am being wed to Mr. Robert (Bob) Alan Benjamin Neve on May 30, 2009. Since we are such awesome friends, I need to send you an invite. This is where you come in. An address sent to my email (priscillaahansen@gmail.com) will ensure that you get a pretty invite in April. Your cooperation is greatly appreciated. Thank you.
I heart his shiny face. And his dumb little teeth. Oh, and I might not be doing summer school, so I might get to go with the fam to visit you this summer after all! (But I still plan to come by myself in May to make up for not being able to go over spring break.)
oh wow he is cute. I love the little facial expressions.
He is getting cuter by the day! I love his blonde hair...or at least it looks blonde in these pics. I know I say this all of the time, but he and Josh do some of the exact same things, crazy! Josh is turning 1 on saturday...crazy! Can you believe it's almost been a year? Amazing how time flies! Anyway, congrats on a very cute little boy!
is he a little blondie!?!?!
he is getting so big! Cute pictures.
Wow, he's going to be a year before you know it! I love how helpful the little toddlers try to be. It's so cute. Even if they aren't really helpful at all...
What a cutie!! I love his little walking video too. Awww! They grow up too fast.
I like the second picture down because he looks like he is trying to be all tough! He is so adorable. And I still want to squish him.
Oh little E! What a cutie! His hair is getting so blonde! How fun. He is going to be quite the little heart breaker. I am so proud of him and all of his new milestones. Walking! Waving! Clapping! I love it! Way to go Emerson! And in case there were not enough exclamation points, here are a few more!!! Our babies are going to be one year old so soon!!!!!!
Oh boy. Hopefully you see this comment down at the bottom of the 12 people before me. :)
I swear, sometimes it seems like E and S could be twinners. She loves the dishwasher, doors, DVDs, dropping food... seriously, twins. If only she'd start to toddle now. :)
He is so adorable. I can just imagine him doing all those things. He gets cuter every day!
