The Johnson kidsChristmas in Utah was great. We were able to spend almost 2 weeks with our families! We were glad our traveling went so smoothly, especially with all the horror stories we'd been hearing. Our time in Utah was filled with Cafe Rio, late (fun) nights, movies, bowling, lots of restaurants, games, sledding, almost no sickness and eating and baking lots of treats. It was the perfect Christmas vacation. We packed home some gifts for the fam, thinking that surely we'd be able to fit the gifts we were going to receive in the space easily. But since everyone was so darn generous we had quite a hard time fitting everything and had to borrow a suitcase! It was so fun to be home and the time passed too quickly. Emerson jumped right into Utah time but has unfortunately had a bit of a rough transition back to Columbus time. It was seriously such a great trip and I wanted to stay longer, but there comes a time when it's good to get back to a regular schedule, especially when you have a little guy who thrives on food and sleep in a timely fashion. So THANK YOU families! We love you so so much and can't wait to see you again.

Sounds like you all had a fabulous time in Utah. I'm glad you didn't end up in any of the messes other holiday travelers were facing with the airlines. Isn't a schedule for a baby a wonderful thing? And you can appreciate it all the more after a long vacation.
I'm glad you had an awesome time back home! It is so nice to get back and see family. I love Emerson's horse and the hat!

I wish I could have seen you when you were here! My mom told me she saw your cute little guy at church and I tried to call you.. but for some reason when you sent the text saying you had a new number... I failed to save it. Therefore I need you to send me your number again! Glad you had fun at home!

Wow! I am still shocked to see how old Nat, Brad and Steph are. I know its silly, but in my mind, they are still just little Nat, Brad, and Stiffy.
OK, I know we were all busy busy but since we only live a few blocks from your family, and I am your mom's only sibling, one or the other of us should have taken the long drive across 5900 South to see each other, right? Especially since E started such a big milestone. I will do better next time if you will!!!!
