He rolled under the tree, grabbed a branch, and immediately started shaking it.

"What are these cool colorful things?"
"I should taste them..."
"Pretty. Maybe I should shake them. I do LOVE to shake things."
"Yeah, shaking is definitely the way to go."We have been so excited to experience Christmas with Emerson for the first time. I couldn't wait to see him stare at the lights, shake the Christmas tree, reach for the ornaments, and I still can't wait to see him tear the wrapping paper and shake it. (I'm not hoping for more than that, cause I know he doesn't care a bit about the actual present inside.) Let's just say that he hasn't disappointed mommy and daddy so far with his reactions.

I love his fuzzy hands...you can definitely tell that he is shaking the lights! He is only this young for so long!
what a stud you have! He is so cute. Christmas I am sure is so much more fun when they are a little more understanding than Easton is. He stares at the lights but that is about all.

What fun pictures! The picture of him shaking the lights is especially cool. Ivy is also getting such a kick out of just touching the tree and staring at it. This time next year we'll probably be begging them not to touch! Kids just make Christmas that much more fun, wouldn't you say?

Emerson and Sadie should be shaking buddies. Cause that's what Sadie does all. the. time. She even gets some of the same expressions on her face! I can't wait to see the two of them together. :)
Oh man, he's pretty much the coolest little trooper I've ever seen... and I'm so glad you're right there with me on the Mac & Cheese. I mean, do you really expect a 7 year old to wait for water to boil? Heck no! We just wanted our dang Kraft!
He is so funny. I LOVE the shaking. I am glad that you guys enjoyed your date night so much. I would be MORE than happy to furnish them more often :) so PLEASE don't hesitate to call. We really had fun at thanksgiving:) thanks again.
