Emerson hasn't been very good at taking a bottle ever since we've moved to Columbus and never go anywhere...ever. It's just a no-brainer to nurse him when I'm home all day. So in my efforts to eventually wean him, I thought we'd try a bottle with something a little sweeter than formula. Success. Ok ok, I'm just joking. We didn't give him any 7-up, but the bottle did serve as a good motivator for him army crawling across the room. The stupid bottle was a difficult shape for him to grasp, so he kept accidentally pushing it out of his reach and had to crawl after it. And did he get any help from mom or dad? Nope. He's got to learn sometime.
*Side note: I would like to add that Tiger is back in Emerson's good graces. They've been on the outs for awhile manifested by Emerson pooping on him (through a blowout). But Tiger is laundered and ready for friendship and has knocked Blue Bunny out of the standings for favorite stuffed animal for now. He's glad to be back after months of being ignored and taken for granted.

We are so glad that Tiger is back to friend status!
So cute! He is so handsome!
I've been MIA on the blog stalking scene for a little while...so now I have to figure out just who Tiger is...:) It was good to chat with you again the other night.:)
Desperate measures with the bottle eh! hahaha Love it! Your posts make me laugh sooo hard!
That's quite the bottle! When I saw the picture before reading the post I was thinking... that doesn't look like something Melinda would let her son do for real... but I wasn't positive. I mean, maybe a new study that I hadn't heard about had just come out about the positive effects of lots on soda on children under the age of one... anyways, glad to know it was just for fun. Ivy loves chewing on water bottles that same way.
Isn't it amazing what can keep the little guys entertained? Honestly, he is so very cute, dandelion hair and all. He does come by it naturally, you know.
Hah! Poor little Tiger...who can blame him. Emerson is so cute.
What's this you think crying babies look like me? Looks like you guys are doing well. We check your blogg just don't always leave comments. But when I see you comparing me to an eraserface crying baby I thought I better put a stop to it!! Ha Ha jk. We love blogging. I know more about what you are doing now then when we both lived in Utah. Funny huh? Have a Merry Christmas. Tweeb
Don't call my son an eraser face crying baby!!! TWEEB!!
Is E taking a bottle yet? If not I have some helpful tips because Sydney REFUSED to be weaned for months but now she is a happy sippy cup sipper...I'd love to help a fellow mom out because I had a miserible time with the whole bottle thing!
