This was mine and Emerson's exchange at dinner tonight:
"Hey Mom! I bet I can stay up and play."
"I bet you can if you cooperate during bathtime."
"Well...I bet I'll probably just be a little bit whiny while I have to lay down and you wash my hair."
"Yes, you're right. I bet you will."
At least he knows himself. :)

Hahaha, that boy has melted my heart, yet again!
That cracks me up. Recently, when I ask Bug to do something, she'll respond with "no, thanks."
"Bug, please go get your shoes and bring them to me."
"No thanks, Mommy. No thanks."
I guess at least it's polite.
E's comments are so amazingly grown up and hilarious! And Sammi makes me want to squeeze her! Addi also loves to sit on the little stepstool. She lugs it from the bathroom to the top of the stairs, throws it down, then scoots quickly down the stairs on her little bum to get the stool set up properly and plants herself on it in the living room!
