Nod Your Head

Emerson just discovered that nodding your head means yes. So sometimes he'll nod without an accompanying "ya" but most of the time the "ya" is there.

Oh! How cute! He knows what that means! How precious! You can tell that he really likes knodding his head and yelling, "Yeah!" Little Cutie!

The best part is when you say "lunch time is a happy time, huh?" and he starts nodding. Up to that point, he's just kind of nodding sporadically in the midst of shrieking and such, but in the end it all comes together and he DOES know the meaning behind it. It's almost like a Hellen Keller story.

Ah! I am completely in love with his little voice saying "ya." And it's hilarious how he bursts into spontaneous giggles. We showed all of these videos to Sadie and you should have seen her face - she's completely and totally in love. She kept pointing at E and jabbering away. I just know she was telling us what a great future husband he'll make. :)

Love your Whole Foods post, Emerson's new tricks, and that he has a blue stroller! If that one doesn't work out he can use Natalie's pink one anytime!

I swear he says "Ya it is" in response to you saying lunchtime is a happy time.
