Emerson had his preschool parent-teacher conference today, and passed with flying colors. I was honestly concerned about what they might say, since Emerson's personality refuses to be contained at home, at school, at play...or at church. Luckily his teachers get a kick out of him and understand that he's three. :)
We will be working on writing the letters of his name in a line, and cutting in a line with scissors. I find it funny that he has no idea who any of the girls in his class are except Audrey, who was in his playgroup for like 9 months. I'm kind of hoping he doesn't notice girls for awhile longer.
His teacher went through their daily routine so I could ask more pointed questions about his day since I get absolutely nothing from the kid when I ask about school. I will be asking about the "Days of the Week" song and the "Months of the Year" song, but I already know about the "Baby Bumblebee" song because he busted that out randomly, much to my amazement.
On an unrelated note, when I was putting him down for his nap today, I kissed him and his R2-D2 and C3PO Lego robots he was sleeping with, and he said "Ew! Mom! That will ruin them!"
I said, "Oh sorry, I was just being silly and was pretending they were my babies too."
"But Mom! They're just robots. Wipe them off."

Haha, I love that his personality refuses to be contained! What a cutie!
