Ok, I'm going to say it again. Time is flying by way too fast. I remember loving this age with Emerson, and I'm really trying to cherish each moment with Sammi as well. 2 months is like the best age ever. Sammi is so cuddly still, is sleeping through the night (about 9 hours), is a great eater most of the time, and can smile now. We don't have to mess with that silly rice cereal or baby food yet, we're not still figuring out breastfeeding and all the fun THAT brings, she is completely stationary still and can't get into trouble, she can't throw tantrums, and we have a pretty good schedule down. As I said, I'm trying to enjoy every single moment, but I can't help but look forward to when she can laugh, talk, walk, stay up late chatting with me about boys, etc. :) I hope she and I have the kind of relationship I have with my mom. I really hope I'm the kind of mom that she feels like she can tell anything and everything to. I just love my little girl to pieces! She is such a sweetheart.
The one downside to 2 months--baby acne. Don't worry sweetie. When you're a teenager with acne I'll pull out pictures to remind you that you dealt with it once and can do it again and that we still think you are beautiful, zits or no zits.
I had to put this picture up because her jellies make me giggle. Her little feet get sweaty in them just like a big kid's would.

She is at such a great age! I'm glad you are appreciating it. And I'm sure she'll continue to be just as much fun for you as you have been for me through all the stages of life!
Ugh! Isn't baby acne the worst? Ellie just broke out a few days ago too. Sadie didn't have it hardly at all, so I'm a little appalled. Too bad they don't make Clearasil for babies. :)
She is sooo cute! Are those tiny little jelly shoes on her feet! Love it!!!! :)
We really need to come out and see you guys! I have had $5 on my fridge forever cause we owe you that from the books you bought way back when! HOly COW!!!! We miss you guys! We should have you over for dinner or something like that! What are your schedules like? How's third year now?
