It was like pulling teeth to get him to find the eggs. The Easter Bunny only hid a dozen, but you would've thought there were hundreds by how long it took. I made the mistake of showing him what was inside the eggs thinking it would motivate him to look a little harder, but I was wrong.
Instead he insisted on sampling a piece of candy from each egg he found so you can imagine how fast it went.
Then after we had found the eggs, he figured out that if he threw the eggs against the couch, they would eventually break open and he would no longer need Mom and Dad to open them for him and decide how much candy he could have. Clever boy.
Yes, I...I mean the Easter Bunny, hid the basket in the bathroom on the toilet. After the rate of finding the eggs, I was glad it was in such an obvious place.
Ben quickly figured out that you can't let a 2-year-old hold a kite string by himself, so he tied it around his waist first and then let him hold it.

Looks like he's gotten over his dislike of shorts. Cute outfit!! And looks like he had a fun Easter.
Umm... jealous! Look at you guys in shorts on the green, green grass! What I wouldn't give for some shorts weather here... :)
And for some reason it cracked me up to think of tying the string around E's waist. Brilliant! Why didn't we think of that?
So cute - i love that little outfit E is wearing - very stylish!
Cute! I'm sure E loved his candy. I'm glad he got to be a big boy and fly a kite too! He looks so big :)
