New kitchen lighting. Yay!Although we loved our old kitchen chandelier and brass lights, we decided to update things a little. Unfortunately I did not get a picture of the old fixture in the middle of the kitchen because my sweetie was so efficient that he got it down before I could. But you get the idea. We're very happy with our new lights.

love the "sleepdown"....and i laughed out loud when you said you used to drag your matress 3 feet to the other room when you were first married, because i was picturing us doing the same thing at our apt! way to be spontaneous!!

So, this is totally unrelated to lights (they look great, by the way - good job Ben!), but is that a yard stick stuck through your kitchen drawers? Does that work?! We have serious baby proofing woes at our house because we can't screw those little drawer latch things into our drawers (landlord's orders... grrr). I can imagine Sadie tugging so hard that she breaks the stick, but I imagine E is pretty strong too. I may just have to try that!

Lighting makes such a huge difference in any room. I love all of the light fixtures you chose... I'd put them in my own house. You're house looks great!
