I Flippin' Folded a Fitted Sheet!

Yes, that's right. I folded a fitted bedsheet. (Mental fist pump.) It actually resembles a folded square instead of a mass of cloth shoved in the linen closet. I never thought I'd get to claim that as one of my skillz. I'll go ahead and mentally check that off of my "Things to Learn to Do Before I Die" list. Why just mentally check it off, you ask? Because I never wrote it down, and if I don't write it down then I automatically meet all my goals, don't I? For those of you looking for help learning this skill, (Kristie ;) ) I wish I could help you. I don't think I could explain how it's done. And I don't know if I could ever do it again. And if you can't do it already, I'm not sure if it's learnable. I've had more than one lesson from my mom on how to do it, and it never stuck. I guess it's one of those things you blunder through until you have an epiphany. Lucky me.

I wish I could fold a fitted bed sheet to look like a square.. or even a slightly deformed rectangle! but me... NO... My fitted sheets are lucky to make it to the linen closet lately. I have not had much time for laundry so it stays in a pile waiting to be folded and about the time I get around to folding the laundry it's time to change the sheets again-sigh-one day...one day..

THat is AMAZING! I battle those fitted sheets all the time when trying to fold laundry! My husband wouldn't admit it, but that's secretly one his many talents! WAY TO GO!!! I still can't do it!

If I didn't know you to be an honest person, I wouldn't believe it. Pretty sure I've never seen a perfectly folded fitted sheet in my life! I'll just keep trying and hope to accidentally learn your trick someday... :)

Melinda, it's like you're a true mom now. Growing a child in your tummy, pushing him out, and nourishing his body, mind, an spirit for the last 7 months...eh. Half of the world's population can technically do that. But, by golly, with the shining accomplishment of the properly fitted sheet, you have surely reached the measure of your creation. Please keep my folding efforts in your prayers.
